Therapies on Offer

Swedish massage is your standard massage treatment, it involves the manipulation of the soft tissue and muscles to cause a reaction to the body.
Massage is a "hands on" treatment in which your therapist will manipulate the muscles and other soft tissues of the body to improve health and well-being. Varieties of massage range from gentle stroking and kneading of muscles and other soft tissues to deeper manual techniques. Massage has been practised as a healing therapy for centuries in nearly every culture around the world. Although massage affects the body as a whole, it particularly influences the activity of the musculoskeletal, circulatory, lymphatic, and nervous systems.
The benefits of Swedish massage are: -
Ease of aches and Pains.
Full body (1hr) - £35.
Back, neck and shoulders (30mins) - £25.
The prime purpose of sports massage is to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during physical activity. Where minor injuries and lesions occur, due to overexertion and/or overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively. Above all, it can help prevent those niggling injuries that so often get in the way of performance and achievement, whether one is an athlete, keep-fitter or a once a week jogger.
This treatment is not just for the sports person: anyone can benefit from sports massage, including people in physically demanding jobs and those not quite so obvious (occupational, emotional and postural stress may produce many similar characteristics to sports injuries).
Sports massage tends to be deeper and more intense. It is based on the various elements of Swedish massage and often incorporates a combination of other techniques involving stretching, compression, friction, toning, and trigger point response techniques similar to Acupressure and Shiatsu.
The benefits of Sports Massage are: -
Reduction of muscle tension.
Post event to prevent and reduce soreness.
Pre event to provide greater circulation to muscles to prevent injury.
Promote faster recovery from over training.
Full body (1hr) - £35.
Part body (30mins) - £25.
Aromatherapy uses the purest plant essence in the form of organic essential oils, which are extracts from various parts of plants, fruits, flowers, bark, roots, or resin. Essential oils contain dozens of powerful complex natural chemicals that have beneficial properties. Due to the diversity of essential oils and their individual therapeutic properties, the range of benefits and effects of Aromatherapy is wide ranging.
Once information has been gathered during consultation your Aromatherapist will select the appropriate essential oils for the maximum therapeutic benefit. The selected essential oils are blended with a carrier/base massage oil to create a unique mix for each client’s individual needs. This Aromatherapy blend is usually applied to the skin with traditional body massage.
Aromatherapy treatments have both physiological and psychological effects. The combination of massage and the medicinal and therapeutic qualities of the essential oils (molecules both inhaled [aroma] and absorbed through the skin) can soothe, revitalize, uplift the spirit, encourage positive thinking and boost the immune system enabling the body to heal itself.
The benefits of Aromatherapy are different depending on what essential oils have used but also include the benefits similar to Swedish or Sports Massage.
Full body (1hr) - £40.
Back, neck and shoulders (30mins) - £30.

Blocked energy is released providing a sense of balance to the entire body and mind.
The benefits include: -
Promotes extreme relaxation.
Improves skin appearance.

Seamless massage of heat and touch.

Hopi Ear Candle Therapy.
Also known as Thermal Auricular Therapy, Hopi ear candling has been used for thousands of years. Originally used by the Hopi Tribe of Arizona, who still use and manufacture the candles, it is also thought that the Ancient Greeks and Romans also used this type of thermal therapy. The candles are completely natural and are made from a recipe of herbs and bees wax and gently placed in to the ear. Once lit the candle creates a vacuum within the inner ear allowing the healing and soothing properties of the herbs to penetrate the inner ear. This treatment is unsuitable if you have a perforated ear drum, ear infection or have grommets. Hopi Ear Candling is a very relaxing treatment, once both ears have been done the treatment ends with a facial massage to help remove any toxins and improve lymphatic drainage.
The benefits include: -
Help with sinus problems and blocked ears.
Stress, anxiety and depression.
Aches and pains.
Medical conditions and many more.
Hopi Ear Candle (30-40mins) - £25
Auricular Acupuncture for Stress and Anxiety Management.
Ear (auricular) acupuncture is based on Acupuncture Theory where a single part (the ear) is used to treat the whole body. Modern western medicine believes that ear acupuncture works by affecting nerve impulses and the central nervous system. An ancient oriental view is that 'qi' (vital energy) travels around the body along 'meridians’ and is affected by acupuncture points. Ear acupuncture is a relatively safe and convenient treatment with few known side effects. During this treatment, you will lie upright on the couch, up to 5 acupuncture needles (size of a hair) will be inserted into various points on the ear to stimulate that area. You will then be given time to relax whilst the needle work on stimulating the corresponding points on the ear, after which the needles are then removed.
Ear acupuncture can be used as a standalone treatment or incorporated into a reflexology treatment.
The benefits include: -
Reduction in stress and anxiety.
Standalone treatment (45mins) - £25
With reflexology (1hr) - £40
Reflexology is a gentle and effective form of therapeutic treatment applied to the feet and sometimes to the hands. Reflexology aims to treat the individual as a whole, in order to induce a state of balance and harmony in body, mind and spirit. It is based on the belief that there are reflex areas on the feet (and hands) corresponding to all the parts of the body including major organs. The therapist stimulates and works these organs and systems through the reflexes, applying pressure to the feet with thumb and fingers, this does not tickle.
Most people can benefit from Reflexology; it can bring relief to a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions and is suitable for all. Once the body has been rebalanced, regular treatments can help to maintain health and general well-being. Reflexology is pleasant and soothing, it relaxes and at the same time stimulates the body’s own healing processes.
The Benefits of Reflexology include: -
Relief of aches and pains.
Reduction of headaches.
Mobility within the neck and joints.
PMT and many more.
Reflexology treatment - £35

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) means "universal life energy". It is a Japanese system of healing which promotes all aspects of well-being. Reiki is a form of healing touch that conducts energy from the giver to the receiver. It is a holistic therapy in that it works on the mind, body and spirit by stimulating the body's own natural healing capacity. It can be used alone or with other treatments to help restore physical and emotional balance in the body.
It is important to recognise that Reiki affects each person differently. Many physical problems are manifestations of emotional problems, Reiki works on the core of these problems and as such, those who come to Reiki may feel a great sense of emotional release. It is extremely relaxing and ideal for treating stress. Reiki is something which has to be experienced and is often impossible to describe clearly in words.

Crystal healing is an holistic, non-invasive, vibrational energy-based system of healing. That is, it treats the whole person and their integrated energy system. It is therapeutic and deeply relaxing. The technique uses precisely placed crystals either on and/or around the physical body. Crystals absorb, focus, direct, detoxify, shift and diffuse energy as they interact with the electromagnetic forces and subtle vibrations within the subtle human or environmental energy field. After consultation crystals will be placed on or around your body. The crystals will be left in place while you relax and breathe gently. You may feel a tingling sensation, your body may jerk as it releases patterns held in your muscles, you may even laugh or cry as repressed emotions are let go, or you may feel nothing at all except a sense of peace and pleasurable relaxation suffusing your body. The therapist may gently add or remove crystals during the session. When the session is over, the crystals will be removed.
The benefits include: -
Balancing. Illness reduction.
Stress. Anxiety. Depression.
Aches and pains. Medical conditions.
